Sharice graduated from Duke Divinity School in May 2019 with a Master of Divinity degree and Theology, Medicine, and Culture certificate. Sharice has done ministry work both locally and internationally specifically in areas of women and adolescent health. Before earning her Master of Divinity degree, she worked as a middle and Pre-K educator in Winston-Salem, Raleigh, and West Pine, NC after receiving her license to teach with a Master of Art in Teaching degree, which she earned at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sharice has a passion for serving others in areas of medicine and education ever since she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. Sharice is a part of the nondenominational denomination and served as the director of Youth Boss Network, Inc. which strives to educate, empower, and encourage the youth and provide vocational training. She also ministered to inmates at Central Prison and recently served as a chaplain resident at Cone Health during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
